Self Study Day 4

So I had some trouble getting Quixel to work and it took quite some time to fix and I'm still working on getting everything to make sense.
But I got my chiffonier textured and generally got to understand Quixel much better. For those that don't know: Quixel is a suite of tools (NDO, DDO and 3DO) that are texture plugins for Photoshop, that allows you to create different kinds of maps (normal maps, bump, specular ect.) by painting directly on the texture or on the fully rendered model. It also have a big library of textures that you can quicky apply and edit. It's quite sweet, even though it feels a little chunky sometimes.
Here is my chiffonier rendered from 3DO:

Daily cameras, added the chiffoniers texture in Unreal and fiddled a bit with the lights.

Self Study Day 1

So me self study finally started! I'll be posting day to day pictures as the scene change. For now there is only proxy models and some quick lighting, just to have the scene set up in Unreal Engine.
The self study will be 4 weeks long, so it's gonna be exciting to see how far I'll come!

Easter game jam at the Arsenal

Epic weekend with game development and taking baby steps into the Unreal Engine.
And, hey, we won awards for both best game and best graphics!

You play as a fragile little girl accused of being a witch, what will you do when the woodcutter comes to end your black magic?

I modelled the girl, rigged and coloured both characters and animated the woodcutter.

Try out the game (download): http://gamejolt.com/games/hex/136490#
