Self Study Part III

More sketches for my self study. I've been looking into Victorian household decoration. I found a great book called "Hints on Household Taste" by Charles L. Eastlake. They book is written very sophisticated and he is very strongly criticising cheap and glued furniture, but you don't really quite know he's doing it before he reaches his conclusion. Super interesting book with plenty of illustrations of everything that it describes.

Self Study Part II

Cozy sketches I've been doing lately, while trying to figure out the mood and what furniture I wanted in the room.

Self Study design part I

Just before sumemr I'm going to have a 4 week self-study. I'll be making a short interactive game.
I'm really excited about it so I've already started sketching!

Trip home

To get to my parents place I needed 5-6 hours by bus. The contrast between going there and going home was striking!
